And the snow came down.

Jacquie and Adrian get into a One-on-One Snowball fight.

And the snow came down.

As usual Sandra is enjoying life!

And the snow came down.

There's my little Golf looking all forlorn.

The snow came down

This is the front park. Looks cold and dark.

Ice Skating

Sandra took to the ice like a duck to water. This is her first day!

Art Work

I'm going to the Caribbean so painted a panel for Jacquie's Toilet.

Art Work

This is either Seven Horse or Wild Horse Common. I don't do animals so left out the New Forest Ponies.

Art Work

Jacquie wanted some paintings showing winter and summer. These are in the Appalachians, I understand.

Art Work

This was inspired by Alice Holt Nature Reserve; although when we went there it wasn't snowing.

Art Work

This is my third painting - the first two are packed in Jacquie's moving boxes. In oils - the first using this technique.

Freaky Family

Here is Penny - taken whilst in Tokyo.

Freaky Family's Father

Thought you might like to see why the Family are so Freaky. I lost a lot of weight and grew a bit whilst I was in Canada.

Here is Jacquie and Sandra at Christmas

The Freaky Thurman Family

Here is Sandra in her guise of Halloween Girl.

Back in Mudd Island

More snow here than I saw in Canada. This is outside Jacquie's house.

My ISP is so slow that it takes forever to upload. I'm changing to Virgin Broadband soon!

Burlington

And so I bid a fond Farewell from Burlington, Ontario. Been here for 5 weeks - probably overstayed my welcome - and about to embark on my next adventure. Joining me saying farewell is Chase the pigeon, perched here on my knee whilst I am lying in bed. See you!

Burlington

On Friday we went out to dinner at the Chinese restaurant about 20 miles walk from the apartment. Very good buffet. I tried a little of each dish so I could decide which one to make a meal of... and couldn't even think of eating any more!

Burlington

I took this one through the dirty window of the bus. The driver didn't stop anywhere where I could get a proper shot. Note the blue sky.

Burlington

I visited Paul at work this a.m. then went on a bus tour of Burlington. Very interesting.

Burlington

I am still getting to know the settings so this isn't as good as it actually was.

Burlington

I ate the WHOLE box myself!

Burlington

I was woken up by a Full Moon at around midnight. So retaliated by taking its photo. You will see, upon enlarging it, that the moon is not cream cheese - it is a Big Apple!

Only one week to go. Can't find any skating stuff for Sandra so will have to get her something else. It has to be light as I have spoiled myself with all sorts of goodies.

Cambridge

Inside there are 4 aisles like this. All sorts of dealers have stands to sell their wares.

The main entrance doesn't show what is to come.

The whole of the top floor is for antiques.

St Mary's

This is the plaque to commemorate the building of a flood wall. It is about 15 feet above the river banks.

Bridge over the Thames

It could be a beaver but could also be a large Muskrat.

Elora

These were flour mills in the old days. There are two, one on each side of the river.

West Montrose

This was built over 100 years ago, and still works.

On the inside looking out. I wonder if the householder gets fed up with car lights at night.

West Montrose

St Jacobs

This building stocks almost nothing except peanuts. I made Paul a pound of fresh peanut butter!

NB I changed the setting on my camera to try to get the feeling of what I thought as cold. Does it work?

St Jacobs

A wall painting of a Mennonite buggy...

And the real thing!

St Jacobs

St Jacobs has an Art Centre in some old silos. I couldn't take photos. The work is outstanding and if I had the space I would have brought back most of it.

Kitchener

Uilspieel wants to take up whittling, so here is an inspirational panel. This one should be sent to Lynda when done.

Happy whittling, Uilspieel!

Tavistock

I thought it snowed in Tavistock but everyone else told me that wasn't snow.
